When Steven Antiņš Burlesque, a film about the pop phenom Christina Aguilera and Cher's legendary music stars first heard the concept, I could, if you think that is less than enthusiastic. It was not just bad, it might be that, under the premise of the movie, but god almighty. Pop star film debut (as is depressingly empty Mariah, Britney Spears Crossroads mind-numbing Carey) Following the film a train wreck of epic proportions to mind. And I'm glad you today that I could not be more wrong.First anything you like Crossroads and Burlesque is its aesthetics. Christina Aguilera's voice is strong enough to make the movie as it gets. However, Burlesque has more to fall back on. Tess Cher, Aguilera boss characters, and plays the role of guardian. Any movie can do their job.
