Review:
The parallels between this film and the exorcist is evident even in the trailer, so you will not get far with that. Just enough to say that the property does not contain any of the effects or the shock value has exorcist. In short, it's just not as nice one film. However own right, is a horror film quite competent. The story's central character is a cliche. Husband and wife divorced, share custody of the children, a new boyfriend / girlfriend in the picture, etc. This type of set-up is always advisable when it comes to a messy kid movie. That everything that is wrong with the way children can not not be blamed on the fact that children are not just dealing well with the breakup of their parents. And that's exactly what happens to the property, unless something is really wrong with the youngest daughter and has absolutely nothing to do with their parents. Without revealing too much, the plot centers around an ancient writing on the box look younger daughter at a garage sale. Of course he wants, and thus gets it. And there begins to be some strange phenomena, most of them are really creepy, hokey. All kind of place, I was satisfied. This film has a good pace, decent performance, and extraordinary cinematography. Not much that can be seen as a lack here. If I had to name my main complaint about this movie and look like this: I'm not excited about the influx of PG-13 horror movies. I have a suspicion that it was due to the need to introduce a wider audience (viewers / younger teens), and make more money in ticket sales. Because of this the final product tends to be a little too watery for my taste. Property shows great promise, but I can not help but like the writer / director would have pushed the envelope a little more, take shape history. Then it became better. As it stands now, ill just say it's a great little horror film. No matter whether the discussion about next year, but I consider my money well spent. My Rating: 6.5/10
