Review:
Note: I stay out of the action described in detail, as you would do it without spoiling elements very difficult. Inside Man starts as open-minded, high-octane action thriller, and the center fully transforms into a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek heist movie, reminiscent of Sting. I thought it was a little too turned around, but it comes with the genre - expected twists are all here, we mainly in unexpected ways. Ingenuity in abundance, and we do not really learn the background of robbery (ie, how the robbers knew their target audience), but make up for it. Story and overall atmosphere is more than carefully designed plot and compensates for the lack of real 3D characterization - except Denzel Washington an ambitious cop heroes who have achieved a minimum level of humanity in the story. The character interaction between him and his assistant (Chiwetel Ejiofor Serenity fame) and frustrated captain played by Willem Defoe is great with some sparkling dialogue. Clive Owen is ok, most of the time is convincing as a criminal mastermind, although bear most of the film mask. Id say that this film is harmless fun, is not your usual fare Spike Lee, who will be demonstrated. There is a hint of its versatility in the back-story for some serious problems in the past, but nothing more than just a MacGuffin made moderate importance in solving the film. There is a neat structural fraud in the use of vision scene, referring to after the raid, without giving away the real ending. Are used sparingly and smart. I would recommend this film, it's never a dull moment, what's more, I enjoyed it so much that when events are progressing towards the climax, I was wishing it would go. And it is very rare for me in the movies today.
